Looking after your mental health

Knowing what we can do to support our mental wellbeing can help us feel better, sleep better and have better relationships with the people around us.

We can all sometimes find it difficult to stay positive and you may also feel uncertain or anxious at times, but there are things you can do to help take steps towards good mental wellbeing.

The NHS Every Mind Matters campaign has a lot of information, advice and practical tips on how to improve your mental health and wellbeing. This includes information on:

  • sleeping better
  • eating well
  • jobs and money worries
  • children and young people’s mental health
  • caring for others

The charity Mind has information on its website about good mental health and wellbeing, including more information and support.
