Support services for staff

Challenges in and out of the workplace can have a significant impact on the health and wellbeing of staff. It is important that support is available quickly and easily when it is needed.

Every organisation will have its own services available for staff. There are also two external initiatives providing free support for anyone working in health and care in Hertfordshire and west Essex:

Here For You

Here For You is a mental health and wellbeing service. It is run jointly by Hertfordshire Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust (HPFT) and Essex Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust (EPUT).

The service was first launched to support staff struggling with direct or indirect impacts of the Covid-19 pandemic.

It also has a helpline available for 24 hours a day, 7 days a week – call 0344 257 3960.

Alternatively, email Here For You. Emails may take up to 48 hours for a response.

Anyone experiencing a mental health emergency should call 999 if there is a risk of harm. If you need urgent help for your mental health but it is not an emergency, contact NHS 111 online, or call 111 and select option 2.

Here For You also run regular and free events for staff
